SHE IS HERE!!!!!! 6 lbs. and 3 ounces, 19.25 inches

Baby Kate has arrived, she was born at 11:54 am on December 30th. She is perfect in every way, we are blessed and love her so much. We'll post more pictures soon, we just have one from the cell phone right now!

2 days past my due date and nothing new to report...

Kate is just not ready to come out yet...she got a TON of WONDERFUL presents for Christmas, more than any little girl should get, mostly when she isn't even here yet. I have my next appointment Tuesday the 30th at 8:15 am, so I will post after that...I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and be safe!

8 days until due date!!!

December 3rd Appointment

Well nothing new to report. I had my Dr.'s appt. today and he said the baby's heartbeat is fine and he would see me next Tuesday, unless he sees me sooner, but it didn't sound like that would happen. Looks like she is going to stay in as long as possible...I don't blame her, who would want to come out in this lovely Cleveland weather??? Exactly! I will post more when I know something. December 2nd Appointment

Nothing new to report but I didn't gain any weight this week, YEAH, so I didn't get yelled at by Dr. Funk...heartbeat was good, he said she is still about 7 or so lbs. It's just a waiting game...so I am waiting...my next appointment is next Tuesday, the 16th, so I will report out then...

As for this week. I received a TON of gifts...Ben's Grandma Ervin sent the cutest outfits, I can't wait to out her in all these new clothes...

My brother came and brought a onsie that said I love NY all over it and another little NY t-shirt.

My cousin Ellen gave me a TON of clothes that her baby Riley had out grown and all the baby necessities, i.e. wipes, shampoo, body wash, lotion and all sorts of other little goodies!!

I also got the cutest, tiniest outfit from my sister-in-law, it has the little, little pants, shirt and sweater!! She also gave a me a TON of stuff that her babies don't use anymore...

THANK YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is much appreciated and Kate will get her use out of it, again, can't wait to play dress up!!

December 1st Appointment

Well, we are closing in on it!! I had an appointment today and he said the baby is just under 7lbs. from what he "feels" and that the baby has lowered some and is in position. He said I am not dilated at all but that the baby could come today OR 2 weeks after my due date, so that didn't really help in planning from our perspective :) That is about it, I have my next appointment Monday, so from here on out I will go every week. Her heartbeat is great and she is still moving quit a bit.

We can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our Tree

Here is the tree that Ben said he did not want to put up this year bc the baby is coming. I do understand his point but, that would be really depressing, 1) if she does come early and we don't have a tree up or 2) if she doesn't come and we are here alone with no tree...anyway, we compromised and put up the tree and left everything else in the boxes.

Baby Book for Kathleen from her Daddy

Look at the beautiful baby book Daddy bought for Kate...I was so suprised when I got to open it, how thoughtful and it is so pretty green and pink!! Now I have to start filling it...fun fun, I can'twait.

Mobile Revamp

Well, I couldn't find a mobile that I liked so I was just not going to have one for her but I was mistaken and everyone said I needed one soooooo...I went to the store and bought one that didn't go with the room at all and revamped it so that it was bright but still looked ok. here are some pictures.

Purdue Gear

I went to BW3's last night and a waitress I have know for some time, Stacy got me the cutest Purdue baby gear, so Kate will be in style from the get-go!! Look how cute!

November Ultra Sound

All went well Friday. She is still a she and is not big…well IF I am 34 weeks, which is what my doctor says I am from information I gave him at the beginning then she is a little big but IF I am 36 weeks, which is what the first US said I was then she is right on target. She is 5lbs. and 13 oz, which is great so if I only have 4 more weeks, which is what the first US sound December14thish, she should gain a ½ lbs a week, so 2 more lbs. she will be perfect at 7lbs. 13oz…, so I don’t think I need to worry about a 9 lb baby UNLESS the “original” due date still stands then she would be 8lbs. 13oz….so there are a lot of what if’s which I am sure we will discuss at my next appointment, but I am happy she is almost 6lbs., so she is “big enough” now…which is good.

I will post the US pictures soon, I just got a new scanner and need to figure out how to use it first...stay tuned!

November Appointment

I went to the doctor today and I am "measuring" 38 cm, which is still big but the doctor did not seem to think the baby would come early, she just didn't know...same answers, could be a big baby or lots of water. She schedueled an ultrasound in 2 weeks, then I will go back to see what the deal is, so I need to make that appointment. Besides that, all is well but I am ready for the baby now and we can't wait!!

This Past Weekend

This past weekend, Grandma Schultz was in town so Ben and I got to see her on Sunday for Gillian's 3rd birthday and also for lunch on Monday...

Gillian wore a princess costume for her birthday, she was soooooo cute!!!

Baby Monitor...what a suprise!!

Well, I know I just posted the fact that I didn't have a baby monitor and low and behold I had lunch with 2 of my friends from Timken yesterday and they had a gift for me and it was a baby monitor and the cutest little pink stuffed animal...can you believe it...I had JUST said what I didn't have and then that is what I got...THANK YOU PAM AND CINDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I have everything...

Because I had the day off today, I went and purchased everything that I didn't have that was on my list of "things you need" that I found in a magazine. Well there are 2 things I don't have...I mean 3...1) Baby Monitor (Ben's job), 2) Formula, 3) something personal, I do not care to share :)

Beau, Michelle, Alex and Gillian were kind enough to bring over lots of toys for Kate and lots of other useful items, THANK YOU!!!!!!! We went to Gillian's 3rd birthday party on Sunday and I will post pictures once I get them downloaded. It was a perfect party and Carmen was in town which was great!!

Carmen bought Kate her first bunny "piggy" bank, it is beautiful, all sliver, little bunny which looks perfect in her room. THANK YOU!!

I have my next appointment Thursday so I will hopefully get the pictures off the camera by then, so I can post them...

Ben is in his 2nd quarter for school, so he is really busy, I am trying to everything on my own so he doesn't have to be bothered. He is doing well and enjoying it too, so that is good.

October Appointment

I went to my doctor's appt. today and met with another doctor that is in the same practice, just in case he is on call when I have my baby. First thing he said to me is I gained 7 lbs. and that I was only supposed to gain 4, so I needed to watch what I am eating....then he looked and measured my stomach and said "well maybe it's not that your eating too much, this baby is measuring big." he then proceeded to tell me that because I didn't gain any weight my first 3 or 4 visits, that I shouldn't be concerned about my weight, so who knows.

He wants to see me back in 3 weeks instead of 4, because of the size of the baby...don't know what that means, so I guess we will see next time I go, which is Novemeber 6th.

My feet have been looking more like Miss Piggy feet each day, which scares me, I'm not sure if I even have ankles anymore, scary!!

Anyway, he said she was very active, so I guess that is a good thing!!

I think the baby might have gotten everything she needed this week, Grandma and Grandpa Schultz sent a WONDERFUL care package, it was a perfect gift and we loved everything from the wash clothes, clothes, blankets, bibs, socks to the animal blanket...it was so fun to open it!! THANK YOU!

Baby has Wheels!!

Here comes the stroller...took us a while to figure out what we were doing but I think after an hour we got it...

The crib isn't done, need a bumper, sheets, etc. but my mom made this beautiful crib skirt for me, after days of looking and not finding what I wanted...Thank you Mom for all of your help!

Here is the crib that the big bed needed to blend with....and again, the dressers!!! These were Carmen's dressers and Ben painted them white and we got new hardware, they are GREAT dressers, that I want to keep forever! Thank you Carmen!

New bedding to blend with the crib, need some pillows and an accent color but the basics are done!

Up north at my parents last weekend, had a great time seeing everyone and here are some new pics of the belly...

Grandpa Sundwick painted the highchair for the baby...apparently it was a much bigger job than he thought it would be...and I understand several friends had to help him. It looks great, exactly what I wanted. Thanks Dad!!!

It's a GIRL!!!

I am so excited Ben and I found out today that our baby is a Girl...by the measurements, we are either having a large baby, due December 25th or the tech thinks the due date will be December 14th because of the large baby!!

She is so pretty already! It was the most amazing thing I had ever seen...enjoy the US pics.
