Kate is 9 Months Old Today!!! I love you baby!!

Kate had a wonderful time having drinks with the girls for happy hour..imagine that ;)

Because I forget to BLOG about what Kate is actually doing...here is an update

Kate:
-Claps and it actually sounds like a clap...she has been doing this for about 2 weeks?? she does it alone, when I sing "Patty Cake", when others clap as they did at the band show, Kate was right along with the crowd.
-Waves hi and bye with 1 hand....she used to get excited and do both hands...so I attribute this to excitement, not an actual wave but now she is waving with one hand when you say "hi" or "bye"...for about a week now.
-Crawls EVERYWHERE, the gates are up...but she has not found the stairs yet...she is more interested in pulling herself up on everything, couch, tables, stools, chairs, her crib, the bed...she has been doing this for a couple of weeks but is really good and fast at it now...does it without struggling :) Good Kate!
-She plays music on her toys and pulls herself up and dances, which is too cute...
-She makes a "car noise" and also takes her finger and rubs it against her lips, up and down to make that "bub, bub, bub" noise, if you know what I am talking about...(about a month for the lip thing, the car noise is new this week)
-"Mama" when she is sad/mad and "Dada" when she is happy Kate :)(for about a month)but I am not claiming she knows what she is saying because she doesn't, obviously, I think our names are "Mama" and "Dada" because that is what ALL kids say first, hence our names :)

Saturday night with Denna...

Denna asked Kate and I to go see the "Battle of the Bands" at Medina High School. We went to dinner early at the Corkscrew and then off to see the bands, it was a great time, weather was good and Kate loved it!!

Kate's new jeans look so cute on her, it makes me laugh...the little butt, so cute, I think I am going to get a few more pair... a girl can't have too many pairs of jeans right? mostly when you find one that looks this good :)



ALL notice the black patten leather loafers Kate has on...it was very hard to get a good picture of her in them, I will try again later...Grandma and Grandpa Schultz's friends, the Jorge's gave these to Kate as a gift, they are so cute I almost died when I opened them...thank you so much and Kate loves them too, she even kept them on :)

Kate has to go to the doctor today...because I made her an appointment!

She has been sick for a week and 1/2, so I wanted to make sure all was ok...and it was. She is 8 1/2 months old and she weighed 17lbs. 9oz. today, don't know if that is normal, but that is what she is...I will go check ;)

Kate is sick, so she isn't real happy today but she is excited for the game tonight!!

Trip to see Grandma and Grandpa Schultz in NC

We all had a great time in Southport, the weather was pretty good and the company even better :) Kate was sick with a cold for most of it, so that was too bad but she had fun with grandma and grandpa...she's crawling everywhere and pulling herself up. We went to the beach one day, had drinks on the boat "docktails" is what that is called...great dinners too! Kate loved every minute of it!!!
